Target Software has provided dozens of software applications that integrate with PeopleSoft, SAP, and other custom HR systems.
One such Intranet application is a Candidate Tracking and Management system. This system features a consistent presentation of electronic workflow and business processes enabling corporate recruiters to select the most qualified job candidates rapidly, thereby decreasing employee vacancy time. Primary features of this application include:
- Applicant and job requisition tracking and resume ranking
- Job postings to corporate web site and Intranet
- Customized input forms and pre-screening questions, criteria-based resume searches, letter generation, response tracking, and reporting
- Track a posted job and all the applicants that have either applied for the position or meet the qualifications for the job. This essential tracking capability provides the means of connecting the requisition to the candidate, and monitoring / acting on the proper workflow
- 'Favorites' to allow a Recruiter or a Department Head to 'fast track' a Candidate
- Import and export data as required and tightly integrate the system with other HR systems and outside service providers
- Scan paper resumes and applications into the database and store images with the applicant's data profile; tie multiple documents to a candidate's profile
- Share data with multiple offices and departments
- Automated letter generation and e-mail response functions
- Interview, contact, and task scheduling, integrated with your enterprise contact and scheduling management system, including MS Outlook and Lotus Notes

Promotion Tracking
Promotion Tracking is a complex, time-consuming, and arduous necessity within most Pharmaceutical marketing groups. The Promotion Tracking features of the Target SFA Suite remove complexity from this process and elegantly track where a promotional piece exists within the development, production, and approval stages while offering real-time status and job updating capabilities.
A 360-degree view and audit trail of the entire promotional process is offered to all parties involved, enabling dynamic communication and multi-tasking to occur rather than the standard step-wise and time consuming approach. The system integrates with Product Managers, Editorial Staff, Medical Reviewers, Legal, Regulatory, Clearance Committees, the Warehouse and of course, outside Agencies and Vendors.
The capability to capture Agency and Vendor performance evaluations is also directly tied to a specific promotion, enabling a full historical record for future evaluation.
After a promotion is warehoused, the system provides opportunities for follow-up and re-use by assigning various descriptors, such as "shelf life". Triggers can be set to start a new review at the end of a given time period, automating much of the process once again.




Profitability & Budgeting
Sales Profitability and Budgeting systems have enabled Target Software's clients to capture, evaluate, and analyze the comprehensive costs and profits of a sales territory based upon input feeds from numerous corporate data sources.
A configurable element of the system allows each client to set and maintain their own specific business rules and to factor in various exceptions to these business rules.
The complex yet elegant solution allows your management to fairly distribute compensation and provide valuable and accurate budget plans to your sales territories based upon the resulting analysis of real-time data.




Convention Management
Target Software's Convention Management systems assist the conventions and promotions department with managing the numerous conventions that your company attends each year.
The system records, organizes, and reports on the associations running the convention, the show service companies, the exhibits, the products assigned to the exhibits, the cost percentages allocated to each product, and all expenses and budgets for each convention.
Also included is the capability to track the sales representative assignments for working a convention and reports for budget planning and communications with sales representatives, vendors, and management.




Visiting Speaker Bureau
Within a given sales territory, sales representatives set up many presentations about issues pertaining to their promoted products, delivered to medical professionals and given by medical experts.
Target Software's Visiting Speaker Bureau system is an application which tracks requests for programs through sales management and helps manage all tasks for implementing the program while also recording all expenses and payouts to speakers, sales reps, and vendors. Costs and budget comparisons are easily reported in this integrated system.




Salary Administration
The Salary Administration System is an application that eliminates the need for a central salary department while accommodating complex business rules and large employee bases.
- The application enables individual managers to update salaries for their employees and enter the information into a company database that is accessible by upper level management
- While integrating with existing HR systems and databases, the system provides fully detailed and consolidated company-wide salary and financial information
- Since the need to have a separate salary administration department is avoided, the number of necessary employees is reduced which can improve overall company efficiency
- Detailed salary and financial data makes your executive decision-making much easier and allows for more educated corporate decisions



Fleet Management
The Fleet Management application is used to manage the acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of all leased company cars on a national basis. The functions performed by the system can be summarized as follows:
- Tracks all daily maintenance phone calls and issues purchase orders and authorizations for all work to be done on your company's fleet of vehicles
- Tracks all company fleet vehicle accidents and continually evaluates driver safety to ensure all sales reps who have company cars assigned meet driver acceptability criteria as stipulated by Corporate
- Processes multiple file imports and automatically audits weekly purchase order billings and those received from outside vendors and leasing companies
- Tracks all costs on company fleet vehicles
- Generates both management and data integrity exception reports
