Ventiv Health Completes Target SFA Implementation
1100 Pharmaceutical Representatives Successfully Deployed on Target Software Suite
July 24, 2003 - Ventiv Health ((NASDAQ: VTIV), the leading supplier of contract sales forces for the pharmaceutical industry, recently announced that it has completed its transition to the Target SFA pharmaceutical sales force automation suite. Approximately 1100 pharmaceutical sales representatives for 9 Ventiv contract sales forces are now utilizing Target Mobile on laptops and Pocket PCs to manage their day-to-day activities and record critical sales and sampling data. Ventiv plans to deploy an additional 500 representatives on Target Mobile within the next 3 months.
Ventiv's current Target SFA deployments include contract sales forces for Bayer, Johnson and Johnson, Allergan and ALTANA Pharma. They also include Ventiv's Dental and Women's Health relationship sales organizations.
