Allentown, Pennsylvania and Paris, France - April 04, 2005 - Today Cegedim, a leading European healthcare data and IT services company based in Paris, announced that it has acquired Target Software, the fast-growing mobile pharmaceutical CRM solutions provider in the United States. Under the terms of the agreement, Cegedim has purchased all of the stock of the Allentown, Pennsylvania company from the two founders and private owners, Ted Rosenberger and Jim Gardner. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Both Target Software founders have signed long-term executive employment contracts with the new Cegedim subsidiary, which will retain the name "Target Software". Ted Rosenberger has accepted the position of President and CEO and Jim Gardner has accepted the position of Chief Operating Officer. Cegedim's current CRM operations and employees in the U.S. are being merged into Target Software's Allentown headquarters under the leadership of Mr. Rosenberger and Mr. Gardner.

All R&D for Target Mobile and the entire Target SFA suite will remain in the United States. Target Software's flexible business model of allowing clients to internalize or outsource any aspect of the suite will also be continued.
