Adolor Deploys Wireless Pharmaceutical Sales Software
Allentown, PA., March 22, 2005 - Target Software today announced that it has signed an agreement with Adolor Corporation (Nasdaq:ADLR) to implement the Target SFA sales effectiveness suite for Adolor's newly-formed surgeon-focused pharmaceutical field sales force.
Adolor representatives will manage their sales activities using Target Mobile running on Pocket PC phones operating Microsoft? Corporation's Windows Mobile? 2003 phone edition operating system and Verizon's new broadband mobile data access technology.
"Our sales representatives will have unprecedented access to information and convenient, secure communication tools in the field," comments Bob Strickler, Adolor's Director of Information Technology. "The system is designed to provide our reps with wireless internet access, email, instant messaging, and data synchronization capabilities. The goal is to maximize productivity, minimize administrative time, and facilitate collaborative efforts between each member of our sales team."
